Help a newbie with first day problems please!!

Hi everyone...got my Impy today in the mail!! was so excited and still am to actually use it on the field....I had crappy paint when I was testing it out and I chopped a ball(bad paint/bore match) anyways so i took the bolt out and barrel off and sent a squeegee through barrel and through the housing to get it clean....did all that and wow is that messy....anyways....looked down through the top slot and I noticed there is a bunch of paint in the deeper housing area(sorry for lack of more technical terms) but not the top housing the area below that...cause if you look from the top slot you can see to the bottom and I have a lot of paint down there....I am nervous cause not sure what to do....I couldn't figure out how to get into there and didn't want to screw anything up...PLEASE HELP!

Disassembly of the Impulse is farily easy. You only need one allen wrench (I forget the size, so if you have a set, you should be good to go).

You already have the bolt out. So next, unscrew volumn cap (located under the barrel). Take that off and remove the valve spring.

At the back of the gun is another cap. It takes an allen wrench to remove. That cap is connected to the hammer assembly (a black cylinder, piston rod and the hammer). Remove that whole assembly and wipe it clean. You'll need to relube the o-rings after that (and only the o-rings. don't lube the piston rod or hammer.

Use a long pencil to push out the valve. Relube that o-ring as well.

Swab out the inside and re-install the parts.
