I just noticed on the box of the tippman 98 custom it has the picture of the hose going to the back not directly in the middle like the gun actually is...

... where the steel braided hose is connected to the bottom of the handle theres some white gunky stuff... is that supposed to be ther?

its teflon tape... used to keep it from leaking...

Yes.

Red, you sure that's teflon tape? I thought they put some sort of glue in there, not tape. Loc-tite sort of stuff.

they use either one, however i always use teflon tape instead of locktite, locktite's it is a pain
