O.K. i have been playing paintball for almost a year and a half now and i have went through around 10 different guns just in that year and a half. I have owned every type of gun there is to own, Shocker, cocker, nova, spyder, sniper 2, etc. etc. and I have never felt really confortable with any of them. I think my favorite would be the autococker out of the guns i have owned. Right now i am gunless, except for my very first gun that i still have, my stingray, but it is busted, so any help would really be appreciated. I want a gun that is small amd light, and can shoot fast, accuratly, and quietly. Just post you opinions about guns. As of yesterday i was certain i wanted a Black Magic autococker but now i am thinking "electronic" is the way to go. And I really don't have a price range, I guess any thing under 1200 or so, give or take a couple of hundred. Thanks for all your help.

Go for an angel, some are around $1099 and they're awesome.

get a timmy, the grip is very similar to the cocker, and they come with a anti-chop eye

Hell, just get the Sting fixed! Those are the best guns on the market! LOL

Hey, scott, next time you "don't feel comfortable" with one of your guns, just send it my way, buddy ;)

Alright, I'll get serious now.
Hmmmm. I'd imagine a Black Magic cocker might do the trick; it's fairly small, not too heavy, and fairly quiet and sleek. I saw one last weekend; they're really nice on the eyes, too.

The problem with electros is that they are usually quite bulky and heavy. You might want to try an E-Mag. It's the smallest electro that I can think of. It has an adjustable magnetic trigger that is amazing. If you run out of batteries somehow, you can still shoot it in semi-auto mode, which is something almost no electros can do. It's a little on the heavy side, but light for an electro. It may be a little loud for your tastes.

The lightest electro that I've held would have to be the Tribal. It's at least as light as a Spyder, and it's pretty cheap. However, the company that made them has gone out of business, and they sometimes have troubles.

The only real gun that I can think of that meets your description that you didn't list as owning is a Mag, or a Black Magic cocker. I'm suprised you didn't like the Nova 700; that seems to meet ALL of your requirements.

However, ANY gun takes a little while to get used to. My advice to you is, whatever gun you end up getting, keep it for 3 months, and play regularly. By the end of those 3 months you probably won't want to trade your gun in.

If you like everything about the gun except for the trigger, you might want to visit http://www.triggernomics.com and see if they'll do some custom work for you.

yeah i liked the nova but i short-stroked it a bunch and it is very hard if not impossible to find aftermarket parts for it, and i want a gun that i can upgrade a lot. I think i have decided to get a cocker, now all i have to do is figure out which one, i really like the black magic, but i would also like to build my own custom cocker, with a spanky cobra a/c body, and all that junk. because then i could call it "my" gun and if i didn't feel confortable with part of it i could just buy a different part. I read a bunch of stuff on the e-mag today, and i just don't think i would like it, i mean i had a short-stroking problem with my nova so it is quite possible i would have one with a mag, plus i have never owned a mag and i don't know anything about them. I am certain now that i want a cocker. I really like the free-flow but i wouldn't have any money left to buy nitro for it. I think i might just build my own cocker, does n e one know where i can get cocker internals? like the valve and spring and junk. thanks for all your guys help.

I'd get a matrix...awesome trigger and accuracy.

Wait a sec... you've NEVER owned a Mag? Dude, when you said that you've owned 10 guns, I assumed you had a Mag at one point! Virtually everyone who stays in the sport for over 2 years has owned one. They are EXACTLY what you described as wanting in a gun! You must try one!

By the way, short stroking can be overcome with practice. I haven't short stroked my mag in a couple of YEARS.

Also, a new trigger assembly & trigger frame coupled with a compressed air tank will have you NEVER short stroking a mag.

Seriously, try out a Mag. It might be exactly what you're looking for.

um, you can't short stroke a mag. yours probably just used to chop balls or something which would just mean you are firing to fast for your hopper but you can't short stroke them.
