Here's a pic of out re-designed wermstick for the impulse and shocker. The new triggers are fatter, external adjustable for pre & post travel, and have a unique design thats allows the user to acheive a faster rate of fire. Just like our preivious wermstick design, the trigger follows the angle of the grip more a more natural position of the hand. These will be availale in a few days in many colors and in polished aluminum (shown)

Okay, what's the difference between that and what the Blade trigger offers?

well, lets see, did you read the post about it? do you know anything about a blade trigger?

I have a blade trigger on my Imp and I'm extremely familiar with that type of trigger.

Blade triggers are fatter, externally adjustable for pre/post travel and, you can probably say, have a unique design that allows a faster rate of fire. From the picture of the new Werm trigger, it sure looks awfully like the Blade trigger. The earlier version of the Werm trigger had a completely different look and feel to the Blade. So, I was wondering why Werm felt that need to veer from its earlier design to one that is more like a Blade trigger.

Dravion, I think Mr. Hopper's point is, it's exactly like the blade trigger ... so, no, you still haven't shed any light on the subject. now why don't you be a nice boy and go back to your dark closet.

Unlike other "blade " trigger that are rip offs of eachother, the werm stick STILL is nothing like the others. It has the EXACT shape as our earlier version (close to the grip) only now it is thicker and externally adjustable. The only similarity to the "blades" is the thickness. Blades have 2 adjustments, wermstick has 3 (soon to have 4) . The new wermstick has a curve at the top for index finger placement which in testing, when a small amount of force is applied to the top at the curve, the rof is faster and more controlled. If we get technical, blade triggers only have post travel & switch actuation adjustments. No pre travel adjustment. When you say the new wermstick is identical to the blade.....I think you need to get out of the dark. From the start, my designs have been original. I pride myself on the fact that I dont need to duplicate someone elses idea.

Looks cool.

I am asking anyone who has used one....is it worth the money if u already have a blade? not shure if i am going to get a I-frame yet but i am tempted to try this trigger first.

Werms products are by far a great product. He is probably just tired from all of the hours he has been working. If you were to call him up on the phone and talk to him you would realize he is one of the nicest guys you have ever talked to. He was probably not talking to you when he posted the reply. I am sure this product will be just as great as anything else that he has made. I will be looking for mine when he sends out the shocker!!!:D

Why is it that some people on this forum find it so difficult to have a discussion about something we all care about without getting so defensive. If anyone reads my posts, I merely asked what was the difference between the two triggers because the pictures looked alike. Obviously, since I have not picked up the new Werm trigger, I did not know the finer points. That's why I was asking. Thank you for answering my question.

I'm sorry if I'm not one of those apologists who are so willing to just accept what people say on here without asking any questions. And that's all I was doing, asking questions. That's it. I didn't say anything derogatory or nasty. Just asked a question. It's infuriating when people get so seemingly upset when someone asks a question about a new product. I mean, that's what this board is for, isn't it?

Did anyone ever mention that Werm is one of the very few fokes around here willing to show his face? (I ve seen Katt and he DOSEN'T look like his picture.

Of course a pic can only be 60 pixles wide- so that rules out MY face!

Werm,

Nice trigger, it'll be a lot nicer now that it has it's adjustments on the outside and it still has more adjustment points than other triggers.

Dr. J

P.S. If you make them in blue, I will probably pick one up just cause blue is the best color (check the gun in my avatar)

This coming from someone who NEVER! shows his face to the lens!

By the way I took that pic of Werm at a field last year. A full size shot shows the twinkle in his eyes he gets just before a game!
