How the heck do you get rid of welts?

And no, I'm not talking about those little rings that appear when you get hit from 20ft. I mean the really neat ones that swell up, bleed, and turn a nice red color. I'd just really like to know how to get those two off my back, because I was planning on going to a party tonight, but dammit, they're nasty looking. If they don't fade away a bit, I think I'll just skip the swimming part.

On a seperate note, never ever, ever suggest running bunkering drills during practices, and if you do, make sure you're not the bunker-ee, it's not a good job.

Uhm...agreed. Broken leg/arm/etc = maybe sympathy. Pulsing welt = no sympathy.

I think Piranha velocity boy left me with a scar on my leg. Bastich. Welts dont go away, that's tissue damage, only way is for them to heal, they wont wash off no matter how hard you try. Sorry bro, just go swimming and look like a ******.

On a seperate note, YOU DONT NEED TO ACTUALLY BUNKER A PERSON FOR BUNKER DRILLS. That's like target shooting but with a person instead of a target (I dont want to hear it if you guys do that too)

Bah, I just came back early. So welts != sex. I've got two shots on my arm where they've left these ring-looking scars, and they've been there for about 6 months. It was while I was reffing, this nice kid with a tippman decided to shoot me, because he thought I was "going to bunker" him, even though I was out of bounds, had a bright orange vest on, had no gun, and was running with one had up. That had to be about the worst hit I'd taken, so I chronoed him, and he was shooting...you guessed it, 370.

Yeah, we COULD run bunkering drills without actually shooting the bunkerees, but what would be the fun in that? And I guess you just won't hear about the moving target drills.

try arnica spray, ben-**** after the swelling and pain goes away...

*or something that can get the blood flowing underneath the skin, so it will heal faster... i had a couple on my shoulder and neck... and most of it disappeared within a 1 1/2 weeks... after constantly day and night of treatment.

i prefer to use arnica spray because it doesn't smell like the others, and its all natural so it won't irritate, or sting the welt.

Try Tiger Balm if you can find it.. It works pretty well on bruises.

One time, during the 43 minutes that it was cool to wear paintball goggles with no mask, I got shot in the face.
It was the right before the last night of a play I was in. It welted up and cut open. I had to pack scar war and makeup into it so the crowd wouldn't see. Got some Vents Predators right after that.
