Woah there, you may want to rethink this. You're going to buy a new gun, just because yours isn't working? Have you ever tried fixing it? Sent it back? Took it to a local pro shop? Have you shot any of these guns? Which one do you like best? Do you plan on using nitro? Does your local field fill nitro? Would you prefer to keep you CO2? What's your price range? Are you prepared for the extra upkeep?

Ok, after flooding you with questions (all of which you should ask yourself before you buy), here's a real quick run by on all the guns.

Automag RT- I've never played with these before, or had much experience with them, but you HAVE to have nitro for these guns. Expect to pay at least $100 for a crappy tank. If your local field doesn't fill N2, you're going to have to buy a scuba tank and fill station (about 150 total if you buy used).

Automag- Again, never had much experience with these before. I just know my friend had all kinds of problems with his CO2 during the winter, or when it was VERY cold. And of course, it's not too popular (which can be a positive or a negative, depending on your view). The classic is also literally unusable out of the box. It comes with no ASA or barrel, so there's some more money spent.

Cocker- This gun can be run on CO2, and performs fairly well. However, a lot of people don't like the trigger on these (like me), and you should definately try before you buy. However, they're easily the most upgradable gun on the market. I'll probably never get one though, because I've only shot a few 'cockers where I liked the trigger.

Impulse- Probably the best gun if you want to use CO2. It may shorten the life some (or so some say, and I'm inclined to agree with them), but I've always had good customer service from SP. You can get a standard black one for ~$400, which includes a VERY nice reg. A vision board will run you a bit more, but more or less assures you you'll never chop a ball again.

But above all, I can't stress this enough: Try every gun (or every one you can get your hands on) before you buy them! What's "awesome" to someone else may feel like a Talon in your hands, it's all about personal preference.

And at least these )*&^*# welts are going down.

My gun isnt just not working. The pressurwe is too high in there according to the pro shop. According to them..... its all because of my expansion chamber. well i want to upgrade anyway.

I think you should get the pt f/x sleeper autococker. Those are the best guns for under 600. They sell for about 500. And they are worth everydollar. You can upgrade the armson pro sieries barrel to a stealth for another 40 bucks. The stealth barrel is supossivly the most accurate barrel ever. They come powdercoated and the green and blue look awsome!
