no... not all aftermarket barrels are the same...
they're kinda split up into sections...

aftermarket barrels are pretty much all different. it really depends on the price u pay for one. but there are some that are close to the same. what makes a barrel good is how well it is honed and ported. thats pretty much it. the better honed a barrel is, the more accurate your shot will be if u have the right bore size, and better ported your barrel is, the quiter it will be. some barrels are close to the same because they are honed and ported similarly. for example, some of your high end barrels like the boomstick, jt 2 piece, all american, freak, j&j 2 piece, etc are pretty much honed as well as they can possibly be, so u wont be able to find a better barrel. usually as a barrel becomes cheaper it isnt honed or ported as well as a more expensive barrel, that is why the more expensive barrels are usually better. but there are some cases where you pay too much for a barrel because of its name, and there are lots of barrels that are equally good for much cheaper, but i wont get into that
hope i answered ur question. i was probably really redundant but i think u get the idea
