The flat line is way to expensive. You can get a much nicer barrel for WAAAAY cheaper!! Plus the flatline hasn't gotten that great of reviews last time I checked.

If you are looking for range and accuracy, nothing can be a flatline barrel.

but if you are looking for a barrel that will actually have paintballs break on the people you shoot, i suggest something else.

its good if you can get to use it right. and where are you fighting with it? personally i dont think you will regret getting a flatline

If you play speedball, dont get it if you play woods you might want to get it. but whats the point of haveing a barrel that can shoot twice as afar as other barrels, when the other barrels can already shoot the length of the field? and also i don't think the flatline is as accurate as a boomer of aa, imo

where i couldnt (without lobbing a hole bunch) shoot across for my life. and mind you, this was a speedball field.

they do shoot far, but accurate? they can be accurate, but, it has to be the right conditions. No wind, the gun must be perfectly still, and perfectly vertical, or else the ball will curve. if you are going to spend 100 for a barrel, get a boomer, jt 2 peice, or j&j 2 peice.

my frind and i were out testing his flatline out, and there was maybe 15-20 mph wind, and the balls would curve about 50-75 feet off, it was hilarious, but it did shoot far:) The barrel could of been put on wrong, because he installed it himself.

After the ball travels a certain distance, on most guns where the ball would start to drop, but if you have a flatline at that point the ball does drop, it floats because it is backspinning . Since the ball is now floating they easily get blown around by the wind and stuff. So at the extra distances the flatline puts on the ball it is usually pretty innacurate. But when the ball is in the normal range of a normal paintball it acts no differently, except the trajectory will be flat.

It is ok for a back player in the woods, but it is really bad for speedball. Also, it is really hard to clean.

The accuracy goes to crap, so even though it has a longer range you can't hit anything at that range :)
The flate line is a good barrel if you want to take the time to mess with it It can me very acurate if you make sure it is dialed in right this can take time and you might have to do it every other month or so. Its long and very loud but beside that it is great.
