yeah that's a Co2 tank. Usually, they are used for impulses and Shockers cuz they run well on Co2 as good as nitro.

Yeah, too bad its like $160 though. :( I was actually considering getting it until i saw the price tag.

This weekend these two guys had max flows on their autocockers (i guess yall already heard, huh? ;)) and they had the SAME tank on them. I asked them' "isn't that for Co2" they replied' "No". But i knew they were high flow tanks, they didn't. But with some tanks you can fill with both Co2 and N2 though.

I was going to buy one but then found out it is the equivelent of a 24oz tank and id rather buy an 88 ci nitro tank for the same price

all I have are 2 (oz CO2 tanks and I've had no problems, I've never ran out of CO2 even during an entire day of playin. And since I just play for fun I don't see any need to upgrade to somethin else. What are the advantages of Nitrogen over CO2.

Co2 over time causes abrazion of the internals. ALso, N2 is alot more stable, and can be used in cold weather without affecting performance. Also, since N2 is more stable, velocity spikes are reduced.

what do you mean abrazion of the internals? Is that gonna screw me over in the long run?

after many years of constant Co2 use, the internals will get worn. Co2 is on the "dirty" side. i donno how to explain this, but yeah..it will wear your internals down after many years of use.

I saw the before. I personely like Nitro because c02 lets you down most the time.

but people have solved that with Co2 filters. They sorta restrict airflow, but not so much that it will not let you go LP, so you won't have to worry for a while..As for me i'm getting Nitroduck system with my new gun.

Like how much more is it for Nitro then CO2

cheapest nitro tank i've seen is 75 bucks for a 47 ci 3000psi tank. The most expensive i've seen is the WDP air, which is 600 bucks. I'm gonna get a Nitroduck Microreg 68 cu in. 4500psi system for like 350. It's expensive, but it's worth it.

Like how many shots do you get from a 47ci 3000psi tank?

TLplus84

uhh..same as a 9 oz or a 12 oz i think

so since I'm just a rec player and not in any kinda competitions or anything, my best bet is to stick with the CO2 cause its cheaper right?

hrmm..if you live in cold weather, nitro is better for you. also, nitro is a good investment whether you play tourneys or not.

I live in Connecticut and have never played in cold weather except next week. Am I gonna have anything to worry about with my CO2, should I do anything to keep it warmer, or am I gonna be alright?
