I am sick of all of these babies in our sport raising all of the issues. Such as the wooded vs. speedball or electros shooting to fast. Why don’t you just go and cry and suck your thumb babies. Deal with it. If you don’t like progress then you are just holding the sport back and ruining it for every one. Every where I look, on the net in apg, its just people trying to make up for there lack of ability to accept something new and better than what they have. So instead of keeping up and moving on they just complain.
Like the woods vs. speedball topic, it’s just absolutely the stupidest thing I ever heard. Its all paintball, just play the game and have fun. Electros are just guns that Intimidate and scare people. You can shoot people with electros they are not invincible just feared by people that are to afraid th realise that an electro is just like a pnumatic gun with a short and light trigger pull. they are scared of the freaking trigger pull for christ sake. thats just sad. something to be feared is skill not a gun some one shoots or has. the people are just fearing imitation wich is all in the mind. that is letting some one beating you mentaly and that can be mutch stronger than beating them skill wise. if you are beat mentaly and become scared you have lost before the game started and then you have no chance of winning.

i agree w/ some of the stuff you said. For me the most intense part of the game, mentally, is right before it starts. I always inflate the game up in my mind to be huge, my adrenaline goes through the roof and i'm ready to play, and no shoot out is ever as intense as when i prime myself right before the game. and it is a lot mental, but paintball is a game of equality, a little kid is just as capable as a sumo wrestler, i've seen little kids cry because they got hit by somebody a lot older, but shrug it off when tagged by a peer, a paintball doesn't descriminate and it hurts the same from everbody playin inside the rules. the good player overcomes all the excuses (i don't have an electro, he's older, he faster, he's stronger) realize none of that matters and play the game. Sometimes they win the rest of the time they learn. but they never lose.

Overall this is why we have multiple games and arenas. I enjoy a good woods game but I am getting into the tourney scene now and am totally digging it. As for the gun debate I have a nicely upgraded cocker but for the last 5 years I shot a Tippman 68 carbine. If you really are afraid of the electros and cockers like mine play the begginers games. Most good feilds will break all of us based on pretty fair lines. SO don't be an *** and get your jollies by being a ringer in the begginer games, come play with us big boys in the advanced game. YOu will get better and have more fun.

I think some people are right, I dont think it's fair if i put my gun on full auto on the field during a game, first off it could really hurt someone if you shoot them for 1 second, thats atleast 9 balls hitting you in a second, and then i dont let off the trigger until they say HIT. That means i could hit them 20+ times. I think 3 round burst is fast enough for fields. Now complaining about fields is stupid, but get used to it because most people are stupid.

yes as i(the voice of reason in this messed up forum) said 90% of the game is skill but there is still that 10% of the game that is weopon and that 10% is usualy not a prob, but it can be sometimes. Paintballing is like biking, if I am better at biking than somepeople but if he is racing me with a Specialized Stumpjumper team bike it is more likely for my bike ($600 Trek 6000) to loose the chain, derailers fvck up on a climb or to get chain suck(when chain gets sucked in to the part between the cogs, takes about 10 mins for me to get it out and back to working order) this posiblity will not stop me racing against rich people with there nice super lightweight $3,000 bikes but Mt. Biking would be a better sport if all racers could afford nice @$$ bikes.

Bike *cough*, so that it is well equiped to compete against other expensive bikes, just like i can upgrade my gun to compete against better guns, that is why things can be upgraded...for those of us who don't have a ton of money (not myself included), who just want to play.

Sorry to point out the obvious (and apparently useless) this thread whatever value it had is now pointless. About the complainers, whiners, babies, flamers, spammers, etc. screw em. If somebody doesn't agree with who cares they have a right to their own opinion and you have a right for yours.
