Just wanted to post a message about a problem I have had with my Freak Back matching the threads the Outkast. I dont know if its a "freak" thing or what but the Threads dont seem to be cut deep enough on my Outkast to allow the Back of a freak to fit in.

I tried my Freak Back in my friends Excalibur, a Friends Black Magic, a 2002 STO, 2002stock Cocker, and powerfeed cocker.
No problem, it worked just fine.

So i went to the store that sold me the Outkast and he tried screwing it into an outkast he had. It didnt fit! So until I hear back from WGP I wont know, but I wanted to make sure other people who couldnt figure out why it might be happening to them had something to work with.

Im not to familiar with the outkasts, but it sounds to me like it needs to be re-threaded. Is that the case?

no... its quite obvious that your fill nipple is the cause of the problem... you need to get a new beaver tail to fix it... sorry dude...:P

The solution is simple. Go to your paintball store and demand that they give you a left handed barrel threader. It's part of the Outkast kit and if you didn't get it then someone has taken it and it's probably on ebay. The alternative is to thread the barrle up to the frump valve then back it out 1/8 of a turn. It's not rocket science, but it should help

How did the stock barrel fit on the outkast?
