Need some help!!!!! I have a Tippmann X7 w/ a Flat Line Barrel. Recently decided to upgrade the PowerTube and Front bolt. So I ended up purchasing a New Designz PowerTube w/ Front Bolt when I installed it and test fired my X7 is fluttering.

I Disassembled everything made sure I had enough oil inside to properly coat o-rings and parts. Reassembled it back again and it continues to flutter... I then decided to reinstall the original PowerTube and Front Bolt back on and my X7 works perfectly fine when testing firing...no flutter

So I thought I had a bad Powertube w/ Front Bolt so I returned it, ended up getting another one, same brand New Designz PowerTube w/ Front Bolt and my X7 continues to flutter!! Can't figure it out!!!! :pissed:

I ended up taking my original X7 Front Bolt and replacing the New Designz Front Bolt while leaving the New Designz PowerTube inside my X7...test fired and it worked!!!!

So I think I have narrowed the problem to be related to the New Designz Front Bolt. However my brother has a Tippman X7 and A5 with exactly the same mod, and his works..no flutter...so I'm confused as to what is going on. Why would his work on his and not mine? I've Google the problem....but haven't found anything..hoping maybe someone can help or has experienced the same problem.

I used to be quite active in AM forums as an extension of my sales job at Action Markers. Since leaving AM in 2004, I haven't really been that active in paintball. I went back to school, so it was only a time thing.

Now that I am fresh and new in the world (plus one BA in animation, thankyouverymuch) I have started to play again. Yes, I took regular care of it instead of mothballing my marker. One of the first run of AM-4 complete with that crappy, sorry excuse for a shroud.

Current set-up: AM Long-Drop, 8 in. barrel with 16 in. backup, Vigilante reg and HPA tank. Nothing fancy, but it still rocks the field wherever I take it. It's still the most consistant marker I use. I do have a 14 in. carbon fiber barrel that is pretty fancy, though.

A few years ago I purchased a Trilogy Pro and intended to retire my AM-4 to backup position, but I still end up playing with my old gun.

To my shame, I did buy a VL Orion around the same time, but I swear it was to cut up and mod, only.

I was wondering if there were any other AM users still out there. ok second issue- the fields

we have 2 fields(cars and tires) they provide lots of fun but not enough variety. we have plenty of room just it floods in the other areas...somewhat badly. we all have part time jobs and have some spending money so one option is top soil, but it can get expensive. im wondering if theres a way to add a drainage system of some sort.
