Valve Removal/Installation
Materials needed- strap wrench, 7/64 allen wrench, 3/16 allen wrench, allen wrench for asa (stock ASA - 5/16" allen key; Zeni ASA - 1/4" allen key), and a pencil(or anything that is long and isnt metal so it cant scratch the valve.)
Step 1: Get everything set and ready to go. ![]() Step 2: Remove the hose and take off the HPR. ![]() Step 3: Then take off the asa. Stock ASA - 5/16" allen key; Zeni ASA - 1/4" allen key ![]() ![]() Step 4: Using a strap wrench, take off the LPR. Following the LPR, would be the valve spring and then the valve stem. ![]() Step 5: Now remove the ram. ![]() |
Step 6: Then start taking out the 4 tray screws with a 7/64" allen wrench. When the screws are off, slowly move the tray away from the body.
![]() ![]() Step 7: Now take off the valve set screw with a 3/16" allen wrench. ![]() Step 8: Using a pencil, or anything that is long and isnt metal, push out the valve towards the barrel. ![]() ![]() To install the valve, please reverse the steps. |

that is a good write up, but doesn't ImpYa already have write up in the FAQ? Anyway, very nice write up it will definitly help kids out who don't know how to install a new valve/check their valve.

yeah man pretty good. seems like a lot of kids have had valve problems lately. Nice Bushy also. I do the same thing using the pencil to push the valve out! especially with the Zeni valve, those things fit a bit tighter than the stock one, it seems like.

We are in need of an 04 B2K FAQ. I started it months ago, but never finished it. I have been soo busy with work lately and college is about to start again, that I dont think I will ever post it up. You dont need to include everything about the B2K series, just things that are new to the 04 b2ks. Check out my 04 BKO FAQ to get an idea. |
