Re: Odyssey Marker Guide

ooo. ooo. ooo. pick me. pick me. i want this to be a sticky. it would be like the ultimate shiz for the odyssey forum. and Jenkins. aka moo shoo. is kool. we have contacts

BoneDaddy68 06-24-2005 06:08 PM

I smell something thats quite...yes...quite sticky

DarkeWolf 06-24-2005 08:29 PM

I know that this seems kind of insignificant, but its one of the few facts that I know about the odyssey markers.
Almost all of them have that port for "software updates". One of the things that can be done with that is that it can be set up to scroll custom text (like your name, or whatever) when you turn the gun on.
Afraid that I dont know much else about the software upgrades.

The odyssey's also come with some better options to them than their older brothers from dragun. Like a bps counter!

Nice

nitrofreak12 06-27-2005 04:06 AM

Me and Jenkins will also be able to answer any questions that anybody has. Either by pm or in the post. We'll figure it out when moo shoo gets back form vacation.

schoolsukz08 06-27-2005 12:22 PM

I kinda already made this thread for TES/Torrid. Meh, my work never gets noticed. Oh, well, nice post.

DarkeWolf 06-28-2005 04:09 AM

Understood School, and a great job you did of that too. Which, all of us greatly appreciate. (I've been thru your sticky many times for info.)
But we've got more people coming in for information on some of the other odyssey markers too, now that Dragun is out of the picture, and not that many of us really know too much about them, so trying to pool what we do know, in one place ;)

I dont think it is worthy.

Hrmmph,

There has been plenty of these threads.

O2. Hopefully I can get some up for this thread, along with more manuals and pictures.

Well PM me with the modifications you have in mind and I'll be happy to add it. (I kinda said to do this in the thread I made)

I'm not doing the research myself cause I've gotten to tried of doing work when almost all the people just disregard it.

TESballer 07-01-2005 11:29 AM

defensive are we, i'm sorry my opinion made you feel attacked :eyes:.

As of now, in my opinion, it still doesn't deserve a sticky, but if you add all of the things that you said you would, then the thread would live up to its position. No wonder I hardly post here anymore.

nitrofreak12 07-01-2005 03:25 PM

ya go mooshoo

Jenkins 07-09-2005 06:32 PM

O3m Manual up, I'm starting to work on the O3/O3x manual.

well, I posted this in another thread, but I guess it wouldnt hurt to post it here too.

Some people have problems with their rechargable batteries getting hot. Its actually not the battery that causes that, its the charger.
in that thread, Wulf1010 pointed out that you can go down to radioshack and pick up a charger that can fit for them. And I'll add that if you can find one that fits that has an IC chip in it, GET it. The IC chip will cut the flow of power into the battery when its full.

Jenkins 07-14-2005 05:51 PM

^Thats's what I'm talking about. to Darke

DarkeWolf 07-14-2005 07:16 PM

:) I'll post more when I've got some stuff that will be helpful. stuff about the odysseys is kinda hard to come across.

sorry again about making you spew soda up your nose amigo.

DarkeWolf 07-21-2005 07:08 PM

sorry to double post, but I just found something new.
Granted, I havent tried to do a comparison of the triggers that are in the Odysseys, vs the ones that are in the draguns. so I dont know if they are the same or not.

However, Zenitram has a three-way adjustable trigger advertised especially for odyssey 03 markers on their website. along with an lpr adaptor.
http://templates.earthstores.com/tem...667&cat=370267

the regular zenitram, which is made for the draguns, are here- http://templates.earthstores.com/tem...667&cat=188610

Jenkins 07-22-2005 07:10 AM

Thanks. Right now I am trying to find out if the 03m is COMPLETELY cocker compatible as Odyssey says they are. I am not sure about the back blocks and the valves. If anyone knows if either of these fit or not post or shoot me a pm.
