Marker wont fire
So yesturday my Quest was shooting paint no problem, today, wont even fire. I have a very odd problem too. I turn on the marker, turn off the eyes, walk the trigger for 2 seconds and then it blinks red, so i change the battery, 4 times. All batteries have been tested with a voltmeter, and are brand new. Also I do not hear the solenoid clicking anymore. I checked the solenoid wires and they look perfectly fine, so I cant even begin to think about what it wrong with it, especially since I changed nothing. I even tried resetting to board and no dice. Help please.

So my WAS board started smoking and is now awesome...took my 9v with it...I saved the rest though. Preety *** if you ask me.

Have a look at the APE board as a replacement.

Not overly keen on the companies ethics - little bit like Virtue's - they haven't got a long history in paintball, nor do I know how reliable the boards will be over time (they just haven't been around long enough to tell) or how their service will be if you do have a problem, but the board itself offers a lot of bang for the buck.

I'd contact FEP or WAS about the board frying out. I would check with FEP first, you may be able to get a replacement board or trade up to the new board they just released.

Tried to call FEP at 3pm PST 3 times and got nothing, will try tomorrow. At any rate I ordered the Raiders edition Q7 APE board, so hopefully it does well and fixes the problem. Other guys with the same problem were told to send the marker into FEP to get another WAS board, not what I want to do. If I dont get a hold of them tomorrow I think Ill just drop it, I have my board in the mail, if it works Ill be ok with it. And yes Uziel APE is by far the most loaded board of any AM board I have seen
