SP-1 questions
How good is the SP-1 for woodsball? speedball? will i be able to keep up with a mr2,mr3,vs1 and a A-5 all of them are stock with all but the vs1 having full auto but we play with 3 round burst well except for the A-5 user he's a sissy
It's pretty good in the woods from what my brother said and i haven't used it in speedball and probably never will. It should keep up fairly well w/ those other guns if they're all sock. Oh and for God sakes use semi-auto not the sissy burst and full-auto crap.
i used it in speedball once, it could lay down a bit of suppression fire, but it didnt like being fired so fast and missed a few balls (didnt chop them, just dryfired a couple rounds) so i wouldnt use it for speedball, woodsball its almost perfect though, its 11 BPS is just about all you need anyways.
Those dry fires were most likely the loader not feeding fast enough.
well the loader goes up to 23 BPS, so i dont think that was it... it may have been the bolt pushing a half fed ball back out, or something like that... i dont know really, could have been the hopper,
but anyways, sp-1 is for woodsball, if you want speedball go for a vibe |
What loader is it? Egg3?
VL revolution
The revi is far from feeding 23bps, more 10-12bps. That was probably the reason for the skip shooting, the loader isn't force fed and has a slow feedrate thus inconsistent feeding.
sorry, not 23, says here, 18 BPS forcefeed...
anywho, who cares about that, point is it doesnt go fast enough for speedball, cause thats not its purpose, its meant for woodsball, and it works beautifully in that role, but if you want speedball, go with something else... sorry for the confusion surrounding the loader thing... my bad |
its probably the VL force does it have eyes or is it always on?
always on, i want to get the eyes version cause its annoying turning it on and off all the time
actually i took the original power supply adapter and connected it to another 9 volt battery pad then wired in another micro switch to a spot where i could easily push and hold for the amount of time i needed, but on the sp-1 i dont think there is a good place for it because of the centerfeed and how far the fore grip is from the centerfeed.
I wouldent use it for speed ball but you can I have it worked out ok with newbies tho. I would use it for woods tho
i have the version with eyes.
just get a tourque 440. i like em better |
SP-1 is beast
yo imma tell u right now, if all those are stock and your SP-1 is stock it will do better than the others. for one the SP-1 comes with probably one of the best stock barrels i have ever seen, 11 BPS and u will not chop, EVER. just as stated about the barrel being actually somewhat well made for a stock u will be able to hit the others while they will struggle to hit u.
this gun is a savage even stock. u up it...and watch everyone with envy as they look at their guns that they spend twice as much on and u out performed them. |
how is the noid on this marker
can the sp-1 really perform well on co2? becuase if it has a solenoid wouldnt that just screw it up?
its designed to be a top performer on co2.
My only advice to future potential SP1 users. Dont upgrade the reg, bolt, board. The stock reg is designed the way it is to ensure safety measures and work on both co2 and compressed air. Aftemarket bolts get rid of the guns anti-chop features, new boards also get rid of the anti-chop feature of the stock board/bolt combo. |
