up grades for sp1
how or where can i find upgrades for an sp1, like because it has mil-spec rails will anything fit on it or r there certain things that r made just for the sp1?
|
what kind of upgrades are you looking for? all i know of is the trinity double trigger and someone makes a stock adapter for any 98 custom stock to fit on it and there is supposed to be a new board out soon
|
There's a 2x finger trigger kit, feedneck, trigger, and a stock adapter. New boards, a QEV, and eyes are supposed to coming out sometime as well.
|
When are the eye upgrades coming? I have the new Virtue board for it but I waiting on the eye upgrade. Low force bolt or not it still chops paint. that smart parts video was false advertisement. I love the gun but it NEEDS vision!
|
You pretty much lost the low force bolt when you got the Virtue board. The Blackheart board kit is the only way you can get eyes in the SP1 so far since it comes with a new inner body that is tapped for eyes.
|
I've put over 1000 paint balls through my SP-1 and may have chopped one last night, but the barrel still looked fairly clean, just saw a puff of paint from the end of the barrel once.
I have the longer trigger on mine and really like it. Most times I'll use my middle finger to pull the trigger more often than my index finger. As I'm learning to walk the trigger the longer trigger is needed for that. iliveforthis: What feed neck are you speaking of? I'd like to get a Q lock for mine, but there is no mention of anything like that on the Smart Parts website. |
There isn't a Q-lock out for it and i haven't heard if there ever will be. Trinity has a clamping feedneck for the Vibe/SP1 that is all aluminum, Personally though i don't see any reason to replace the stock one.

Since I need to remove my hopper to pack my equipment in my duffle bag to travel between home and the field, the quick release is a very nice option for set-up and tear down before and after the session.
The stock feed neck works fine, I just want ease of assembly. Thanks for the heads up on the Trinity. :D |

For a woodsballer, what would the Blackheart board do for you? The standard board doesn't chop balls and you get the semi, 3rdb and Full 11bps.
|
It would give you eyes, higher ROF, and some board adjustments.

I'm also likely going to use ramping. If it would just come into the local shop already. :dodgy: |
Eh i wouldn't expect much better efficiency really. The stock dwell is already pretty low i believe for the low-force bolt to work. If you're setting up for a faster ROF you will probably have to run at a higher dwell then what's currently used on the stock board. That's just a guess though from what i know about the stock board and low-force bolt.
