SP-1 to Epiphany upgrades???
Can I upgrade my SP1 with a Smart Parts Epiphany Firing Chamber Kit, Fire Bolt, and blackheart board?
I know u can do it with an Ion but does that mean u can do it with an SP1??? http://www.punisherspb.com/smart-par...ase-3-kit.aspx |
can almost all Ion parts be used with an SP-1??
|
The SP1 uses a different style upper body, the bolt and detents are the same as an Ions but that's about it. Doesn't really matter though since the Epi kit was pointless and hardly worth the money anyway.
Like i said already the bolt and detents are the same and so are the barrel threads but that's pretty much it for Ion parts. The Vibe/SP1 uses it's own trigger and board style so those are exclusive too. You can get a Blackheart kit though that will give you eyes as well as a new and better board for like $100. |

I believe it comes with a QEV as well which is a little valve that will help increase your efficiency. |
I already know about the Blackheart board
so whats wrong with the Epiphany kit dose it not do any thing? and what about the fire bolt? |
Unless you're playing indoor or somewhere else that requires a lower velocity the inserts do nothing that really helps performance. The Firebolt is decent but far from being the best bolt. If you're going to spend money on a bolt the DW HP and TechT L7 are the only two worth considering.

I think I'm likeing the hollow point what do you prefer
|
Both will give about the same performance so it really doesn't matter which. Personally though i'd go with the DW as i prefer the way the bolt stalk is designed, simple.

I'd go hollowpoint as well if you really feel you need a bolt upgrade. The stock one isn't bad at all. I thought it was the same as an Ion bolt but then when I got my vibe I realized it's hollowed out of the front, so its about halfway between a stock ion bolt and a firebolt. Probably the last thing I would upgrade.
In order to see any major performance difference, the Blackheart kit is the way to go. |
