PBR: Where are they now?

I figured I would start this for the remaining 3 or 4 members of this place. It seems like forever since anything has happened here, and I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to catch up.

For me, I'm 18 and I just started college. I'm a Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management major at Johnson & Wales in Charlotte, NC. If you do the math, that means that I was a member here a while before I was 13 years old. And I had been banned before for being underage. My life on the run has come to an end.

I love you all. (both of you)

And '05 was still the best year.

spydyrodeo 09-12-2011 01:53 PM

I'm still a bad ***.

Infiltrator 09-12-2011 07:22 PM

Marriage, divorce, 3 different countries, lived in a car and tent for two months, violence, bloodshed, betrayal, deception, backstabbing, death threats, preventing my own murder, explosions, evil, pitch black walks in the desert, billions of stars, blackhawk helicopter rides, waking up in pools of my own sweat, hardcore tests passed, thigh deep in swamps, edges of 1000+ foot cliffs no soul 100 miles in either direction, temperature variation of outside enviroment ranged from -65 to 130+, Alaska touched a section just outside the arctic ocean, Yukon Territory, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida. I feel like I was in the wilderness for four years. I come back to civilization and it's like I walked out of a time machine. Would of been fun, if I wasn't so close to psychos and psychopaths.

I am back to my normal boring life now. I do the same thing every day now until I die. I don't think my body is built up enough for another adventure like that. :( I can't take the run through of emotions like that again without losing my life. I barely made it out alive physically. This civilization is so mellow. I have to get used to having rights now.

spydyrodeo 09-12-2011 09:00 PM

Witness protection program? lol

moshpitengineer 09-13-2011 03:42 AM

I started going to raves with my infamous cousin.

My ex girlfriends boyfriend chased me down with a gun after she started hitting on me. I lived in the old copper country of the upper peninsula of Michigan for a bit too, that was an adventure

Paintballrocks 09-13-2011 05:21 PM

Well, I dropped in just to see if the Football thread may be active but I guess Ill post this.

20, going on 21 in December and I cant wait. I didnt party very much in high school so Im not burned out at all and it will be enjoyable to go out with some of my older friends and have a few drinks at the bar. In a pretty serious relationship right now and will probably be engaged in the next year or so. Working part time at Walmart while I try and finish up school over the course of the next 2 - 2.5 years and will hopefully land a job with Georgia Power afterwards. Other then that I dont do much other then spend time with what few friends still stick around, spend time with my gf, hit up the gym, and every know and again Ill log onto Xbox Live or WoW for a little bit.

moshpitengineer 09-14-2011 05:33 AM

so basically that means nobody checks the site anymore?

Except apparantly lopez, who was still disappointed that I quoted him for his desires relating to hannah montana in my sig

Only a few of us die hards left. We won't let it die, yet I keep *****ing about it and want to see it turn into a porn site. Oh well...

:dodgy:

moshpitengineer 09-14-2011 07:37 AM

Good luck with your attempts to make it a porn site.

IDK why lopez would delete his comments about hannah montana anyways. I mean sure she was underage when I quoted him, but shes over 18 now

I guess I can post. I'm 24 in 6 days. Studying math at Colorado State. Currently doing intro to student teaching, going to be teaching next semester. Then on to grad school. I don't work during the winter. And I've been doing epic mountain and rock climbing every chance I get.

killertip212 09-14-2011 08:31 PM

I'm still around...i always have the forum index in a locked tab on my browser, it just doesnt feel right to not have it. I spend most my time now in the Vintage Matrix forum on pbn and customcockers.com

Turning 24 next week, still running my garage. Sadly I had to shut down my field and store a few years ago also I rarely play paintball anymore and have gotten more into relaxing things; Golf and fishing for the most part.

Still need to pay off bills from hurricane Irene *sigh*

senghing27 09-14-2011 09:57 PM

Heh... This place is a ghost town. :dodgy:

I was doing search to when I first picked up my phantom and it linked me back to a thread many years ago.

Was glancing around, boy, these forums are deserted.

22.
Got my bachelors degree and I'm currently in a one year masters program. Schooling sucks, but it's a means to an end.

I still paintball, still enjoy it. I lurk mostly on MCB, but PBN for lulz.

I miss the glory days of PBR.

I think I still got the crappy shopped photos of Andrew's dad.

HurleyHero67 09-15-2011 06:24 PM

I just stopped by for the first time in ages and was seriously depressed...but not surprised. The mods dug their own grave here, sadly, we all saw it coming. If you kill off the members that keep you alive, your forum is going to die.

So you're an actor then?

Mojo 09-16-2011 09:41 PM

I check in here maybe once a week, I always get depressed when I do though because it's so dead. Seeing OT with six active threads is a sad comparison to how it used to be.

I'm 24 now, still meandering through college. I've taken so much time off that in the six years since I graduated high school I've only completed maybe one full year of college. BUT, I'm back on track, going to transfer from JC to Chico State (hometown uni), get my BA (and maybe MA in history) and teaching credential—I want to teach 7th/8th grade history.

Spent some time in Uganda a few years back, may be returning in the near future. Got married a couple of years ago. Things are good.

Still miss PBR's glory days though...

Did you marry a Ugandan?

I'm also turning 24 next week. Married. I am currently in paramedic school with about 12 weeks to go .

I pop in every now and then just to see if this place has picked up at all.

I turn 20 in 3 months, am a sophomore in college. Spent my freshman year at the University of Houston where I was studying English but now am back at home studying music business/audio engineering at San Antonio Community College. I teach marching band and I am a hobby dubstep producer. I also produce hip-hop for anyone willing to pay and royalty-free music for corporate and other similar usage. I'm also spent the past summer marching with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps, a world class competitive entity based out of Casper, Wyoming.

I think i've balled once in the past two years. I'd go more often if I could afford it... and I play pump... Trying to get a group of my students from the band together to go rent out a local field once the weather improves.

di$TOrTed 09-17-2011 04:18 PM

I visit about once a month. Get in the chat every week or so.

I'm 21 now so i get my drink on every weekend but other then that just school and work.
