you might want to get one, i dont have one for my rebel, but if you shoot really fast you might want one to prevent (or mostly prevent) chopping a ball. I am about to get one i think, it wouldnt be a bad idea to get one, but it might not be nessessary, so u might not want to. k, hoped i helped, peace.
