If the bolt flew forward and chopped the paintball, then my guess is that your bolt is stuck in the forward position. I've had this happen a few times and it was a pain in the arse to pull the bolt back in order to clear the jam. It may take a while -- or even help from a friend -- to pull that bolt back.
