No, every tank has an E-Number, including GCI, but the DOT handles those numbers differently.
For example, E-10945 is made by SCI and has a 5 year hydro (if hydro'd after July of '01), E-11005 is made by Carleton Tech and always has a 3-year.
The only E-Number that applies to GCI (that I'm aware of) is E-12695--so beware of that one.
