Yeah, this year should be... interesting. We'll see.  I kinda have to laugh though, I remember hearing on the radio that Baltimore makes a lot more of the "Battle of the Beltway" then Washington does. Ravens fans are all fired up trying to prove something, and most Redskins fans just aren't that worked up over it.
But as for sanding your cupseal, the best way to do that is to mount the cupseal in your dremel or in a power drill, and keep the sandpaper stationary. I've done this with other round objects, and it works really well. You are basically using your drill in the same way as you would use a lathe, which is really the best tool to use for something like this.
