It may be about tradition as you say but that doesnt translate into squat during the regular season. Tradition is great and all, but it doesnt automatically translate into wins. And speaking of the savior complex alabama fans sure do seem to think that Saban will be the savior of their currently flopping program.
Anyways back on topic. The thought occurred to me that South Carolina could surprise some people in the east this year.
