I do not think that it would be best to call me out on drinking for that might be a fight you would lose (this is the guy who learned how to drink in Russia and drinks vodka straight from the bottle). There are a bunch of light weights here that would be an easier fight.
So are you saying that having a tradition plays no role in recruiting, TV deals, merchandise deals/sells, etc...? If you are, then I am afraid you do not understand what now college football is.
