You upped a 5 year old thread...
Don't put anything on your lenses unless if the manufacturer approves it. I mean come on, a bottle of anti-fog stuff is like $5-$10. Eye surgery (even if they can be replaced) after your lense shatters because you were too cheap to buy the right stuff and you get shot in the eyes is a lot more expensive than some anti-fog approved for your lense.
