Hey, I know it's a few months later than your original post, but the tank is still in hydro. The tanks are good for five years before being re-hydroed, and 2009 most likely means the re-hydro date or manufacture date. Now it's 2012, so the tank is three years old. Unless there are any major dings or dents in the tank wall or regulator, you should be set.
