In so much as it's operating pressure is below 300psi, where low pressure is traditionally considered to start, then yes, it would be considered a low pressure marker.

I own a etek and I have tested the 06 ego's. The only difference I find is the 06 ego has a higher bps rate with the stock board (doesn't matter cause only 15 bps is allowed in most tournys). Some internal differences are that the etek doesn't have a qev (don't matter this thing still shoots ropes), and it has a led screen not a lcd screen like the ego. I think the only reason people think lcd screens are better is because it alot faster to see and easyer to see what mode your in or what your customizing etc. Instead of trying to remeber the colors for your led screen. But also I have seen a guy who had a gun (can't remeber which one) and it had a lcd screen on it. The guy got shot in the lcd screen and then the screen went all blurrie and was junk. But there is a 1 in 1000 chance you would be hit there. So it doesn't matter to me which one. Hope this kind of helps. Oh also the etek is cheaper by about 200-300$.

I agree; and now you have a virtue and a tadao board available for those of you speedracers!
Question: should I use my gun oil on my cure bolt?

Just lubricate the o-rings. No need to oil the bolt itself.

Thanks Uziel...and I couldn't find this answer for my question; I did a search in this thread and couldn't find it:
Now I know when lubricating the lpr and frm you need to use vaseline. How about the rammer housing? I've been mainly using my eclipse oil on the orings and on the rammer. Is this ok to? I haven't touched the solenoid yet so should I clean that before and after I use my E*Tek? Thanks for your help guys...

I wouldn't work on the solenoid unless you feel you need to. If you do, use Dow33. The oil supplied with the marker is the correct lubricant for the rammer.

In ramping, but uncapped in semi. Stock '05 and '06 Ego's are also capped at 15bps in ramping, so the Etek isn't at a disadvantage there.
If you are asking if 15bps is the absolute limit of the Eteks cycle rate, then no, it isn't. It may not cycle as fast as a normal Ego, but it will certainly cycle more than 15 times a second.

Microswitch on a stock Etek board, Optiswitch on the '05, '06 and Maniac Ego board, microswitch and optiswitch on the '07 Ego board - you decide which of the two switches to use.
