The Game: "A Bridge to Far"

How it works: Two teams, one Allied one Axis advance as deep into enemy territory as they can. The further they go, the more points they make for their team. Points will be calculated by chips that players deposit at strategic points throughout the field. The field will be cut into four pieces separated by rivers. Some rivers will be actual water others will be represented by blue ribbon. Players may only cross the rivers at the bridges. Each day will have two 4 hour games so that each player can play as both the Allied and the Axis.



This game looks awesome! Tell people about this event so we can get even MORE people there this year then last year. last year there were over 290 people!!!

Operation: Emerald fire

The planet Kelva is known throughout the Terran Commonwealth for its spices, exotic woods, and unique blends of tobacco. Recent mineral surveys have given rise to a mining industry in the planet’s mountain region. The problem is the feral bands of mountain men who fiercely defend their territory. Add to this the Free Kelvan Front, an anti-government group who supply weapons, equipment, and training to the mountain men. The Kelvan Planetary Guard has been decimated and the Planetary Governor has appealed to the Terran Commonwealth for assistance. The Commonwealth has sent a strike force of Terran Colonial Legion to deal with the threat. On November 1-2, 2003, forces of the Terran Colonial Legion and the Black Fang Clan will collide. Be at Triggertyme Paintball in Columbia, SC, to join in the battle.

Pre-registration cost is $35 if paid before October 18, 2003. This fee includes dinner Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning. After the deadline,

Operation: Frozen Arse II

Saturday - February 28, 2004

The year is 2004 and the threat of a nuclear detonation is worse than ever. After the fall of the Soviet Union, it's arsenal of nuclear weapons have been controlled by several small republics. Now, an extremist group has seized a warhead. Their plan is to launch it from Siberia and detonate it so the prevailing winds carry the fall out across the Americas. In response, the U.N. has launched Operation: Frozen Arse and detached a specialized multi-national task force to locate and disarm the warhead. Their orders are to stop them at all cost.

Draxxus (Diablo) will be used during this event!

GAME FORMAT

Medic, Demolition Expert, and Sniper characters will be utilized.

The game will consist of two 3 hour segments. The teams will reverse roles at the end of the first segment so both teams will have an opportunity to attack and defend with the points to be cumulative. Points will be earned by flag turns, completed missions, and commander eliminations. The game will start with the Red Team as the Extremist and occupy the field from The Compound to the red line on the game map.

Tank crews will have to sign up as either U.N. or Extremist to ensure the two sides have the same firepower during both segments. All PAV's must be inspected and crews briefed before the game. Please contact management for an appointment.

There are Rideable Tanks. There are even paintball guns mounted on-top of the tank so you can shoot at the enemy while driving.

A 24-Hour Role Playing Scenario Game

It has been almost one hundred years since the global holocaust that reshaped continents and nearly destroyed North America. Who could have foreseen that a terrorist group would have been stupid or careless enough to start a chain reaction of global destruction? It has been many years since Armageddon and pockets of civilization still exist in the wastelands of North America. Islands of terror and islands of hope.

One such pocket of humanity called Diablo Island still clings to life, such as it may be, on a pinnacle of land in the far reaches of Ontario. The inhabitants scavenge the outlands for remnants of a past life that can be used or traded for something more useful.

Marauding bands of "Invaders" constantly pillage the countryside, taking whatever they need or want, by whatever violent means they think necessary. But this time it will be different. The population of Diablo Island has had enough. They are preparing for an all-out confrontation that will end these invasions once and for all.

To get the discount for early pre-registration, player entry must be postmarked by: October 12th, 2004. The field will open after 9:00 a.m. on Friday to accommodate early camping, arrivals and RVs. Registration will be open on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., then will re-open at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Mandatory player orientation is 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

"Game on" is from noon Saturday until 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

Event admission: $50 per player prior to pre-registration deadline; $60 after the pre-registration deadline and on the day of the game. Registered players may sign up for the FREE Tactical Markers Shootout - a one-on-one competition utilizing Armotech Zeus G2 pistols - on Friday afternoon The first 20 players to sign up at the MXS RV will compete, with the winner taking home a new Armotech Zeus G2 pistol - courtesy of Tactical Markers!

Pizza, hot dogs and snacks will be available Friday night in the Rec Center after 8:00 pm at the Player Party, courtesy of EMR, with the Rec. Center staying open until midnight for ping pong, foosball and Karaoke.

A volleyball net and horse shoes will be set-up during the day.

E.M.R. will also have a bonfire going Friday and Saturday Nights.
The International Paintball Museum will be open on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday after the awards program until 5:00 p.m.

Tasty Tyme Catering, owned and operated by Rich Barchock of Team Damage, Inc., will be serving lunch and dinner on Saturday and a breakfast on Sunday for the players!

Home Away From Home: There are 22 bunkhouses available for FREE. They range from 12 to 21 bunks. These must be reserved through EMR and it is done on a first-register, first-get basis. Players must register a group of 15 people to get their own private bunkhouse, otherwise they will be put with other players in a bunkhouse. The faster players pre-register, the better bunkhouse they get. There is also FREE camping available on-site on a first-pre-registered, first-get basis.

Players have been invited to cool their heels at the field and play some Recball on any of EMR’s 24 different fields after the awards ceremony Sunday afternoon until 6:00 p.m. as long as there is a minimum of 15 players that want to play, and are welcome to stay overnight on Sunday.
