Shoot-down = a lowering of air pressure causing a decrease in velocity (the paintballs gradually slow down and just go 'poo' out of the barrel )
To aviod it, just make sure you keep your air tank full, regulator in good shape, and your dwell settings right for the equipment you have (IE- QEV/stock banjo)
Is that what you're talking about???

ya only things that really cause shootdown to happen regularly is air tank being low on air, battery being low, reg not being good, or dwell too low

haha
well not everything yet.....
anywyas best way to find out what dwell should be at is to go outside with some crappy paint, or reballs if you have those.....and lower your dwell to about 10 clicks for dwell, thats pretty low but set it at that then shoot and raise the dwell one click at a time untill your marker can fully cycle, everyones ion is different so this is the best way to see the best dwell setting for your marker

I've got mine set to 15 with a QEV, but I think I could go lower... but I don't want to waste any paint right now.

The dwell with a qev should be set in the range of 10 to 17.
