List of Ion frames
Ok so i think it's about time we have a list of ion frames here in the forums. You can also ask questions about the frames here.
Why get i new frame? A new frame will give your ion new feel and a new look. A lot offer new styles like 15*, 85*, and 90* humps on the back to really change the feel of your gun and for some have an easier time walking the trigger. Some also offer cut outs a membrane pad and some for and optional 15* or 90* vertical ASA mount. Color opinions are also available other then the stocks black powder coating finish. So here's a list of frames that are currently out w/ some simple FAQs about them.

^The SITH frame also gives you the membrane cut out as the Fierce frame.

www.punisherspb.com

Trinity Sick Ion Frame:

Hybrid is reportedly in the works for an UL (Ultralight) style frame for the ion. Warped Sportz was also at one time designing a Dark frame but as of yet nothing has been released about it.

No need for the * sign after the 45.
45 frames are not actually at a 45 degree angle. The '45' actually refers to the fact that they were originally meant to mimic the shape of the grip frame of a Colt 1911A1 45ACP automatic pistol (though some manufacturers have strayed a long way from that design over the years), and that they are compatible with 1911A1 grip panels.

Digital - The page will be back up soon with v2 frames for sale. I really don't offer any custom work since I basically design a part then pay to have it milled and anodized. Contact rick at precision if you want some good anodizing done, but I really don't have a clue for custom milling, as most of my stuff is small scale production work rather than one off stuff.

just found this on pbn... v2 lives on. not sure if hes getting back into full production or what
and thats a quote from brett himself

The stock ion frame is a 45 right?
I would like to know because I would like to get some new grips, as the stock grips make my hands hurt for some reason.

Yes, the stock frame has the standard 45 frame screw spacing so just about any 45 grip should fit.

As per post #4, "soon".
With that info being from the horses mouth, no-one can provide any more accurate information than that at this time. If he doesn't know exactly when he'll have the frames back on sale, we sure don't.
