Does this seem awkward?
Alright so here's my story.....
The day before Halloween, my phone gets stolen. I don't worry about it, and I cancel it about 4 days later. I recieve a phone call the Friday before Thanksgiving, its apparently the mom of the kid who "found" the phone. My mom suggested to drop it off at the school so that I could pick it up. Well after a few weeks of checking for the phone, nobody had dropped it off. Later we found out the whole thing could have been a setup, we know a cop. He said that the "mom" could have wanted to meet at some place, where my mom could have been robbed. Pretty crazy. So, get my bill, they bought some ringtones, thats expected. Well we call one of the numbers that was on my bill, and its some mexican teenager(we only heard his voicemail). We don't really do anything about it. Then recently my dad gets a voice mail death threat. They didn't say his name, just cursing at him and telling him they're going to kill him. And last night, somebody dropped a phone off at our doorstep and drove off. This was the exact same model as my stolen phone, but was not my phone.
Just thought I'd like to share.

I wouldn't say it was awkward, but more eerie.
Also, next time, use *67 when calling someone that stole your phone for security reasons.

Too bad CSI isn't as real as the show. If your ordeal had been an episode they would've run a montage of a fingerprinting, a database search and then a SWAT team entering the home of the perps to find them beaten all stabbed in the heart by your cell phone.

Lake Elsinore, sort of near Temecula, Murrieta, Corona, etc.
Alright well my mom checked the SIM card on the phone that was at our doorstep today, and it belongs to some guy that lives down our street. I've never heard of him, and his name sounds like it could be a terrorist, I forgot what it was. Here's what we think happened: the guy dropped his phone as he drove by or something, and broke on impact. He happened to drop it right in front of my house, and somebody later walking by saw it and dropped it on our doorstep.
