Hopper Cleaning How Often?

Hi I was just wondering how often do you people disassemble the egg 3 to clean or any other hopper to clean? It seems like a big hassle to do this. How often do you guys do it? Is it even needed?

Clean it when and if you get a ball break in the hopper or dump some broken paint in there. I've done that not knowing one of my pods got a hole blasted in it and I poured some nice gooey paintballs into my loader. Other then that it's not really needed honestly.

It isn't needed very often at all unless some paintballs happen to break inside your hopper, which can be prevented by using fresh, good quality paint.

What i always do is take a squeegee (straight, not a battle swab) & wrap a small towel around it & just swish it around inside the hopper. Paintballs are a little greasy & over time it can build up inside hoppers & pods (and barrels).

You could also buy a pod swab (google it, i forget who makes some, maybe Blackstar) which is basically a fat squeegee.

On topic though, a good toweling inside the hopper now and then doesn't hurt like Nerdcore mentioned.
