Don't up your threads. Anyway, take off the slick honey and put on some Dow 33 to see if that fixes it. What do you mean that the bolt doesn't move at all? As in, when you pull the trigger, absolutly NOTHING happens?

Yeah the honey I think makes it stick so the bolt can't cycle but my older brother told me it would work. Now it's dried on and I can't wipe it off

I hope you didn't use real honey...
~but try a bit harder to whip off the lube.
~Get yourself some shocker lube, Sl33k (works great) or any other dow 33 lube from your local shop.
~Punch your brother in the arm for screwing you over.

if its dried on, try using a wet paper towel to get it off

Or a mild solvent like denatured alcohol.

Slick Honey is pretty popular with Matrix owners, so I wouldn't have thought it would cause any major issues with an Ion. Makes me wonder if you used too much, or if some got somewhere it shouldn't. It's also odd that it should dry up.

Irrespective of that, get the dried up stuff off, replace it with Dow33, Sl33k or Shocker lube (all basically the same thing) and see if that resolves the problem.

Did you use real honey, because it sounds like it...
If it dried up, then whatever you used to lube it is your problem, but please, tell me you did not usre real honey.

Oh god, slick honey is a bike lubricant that people use for their guns, not the REAL honey, thats your problem. Completely clean your gun, and put the real slick honey lubricant, or some Dow 33. BTW, I have to sig that.

Now might be a very good time to upgrade to a Firebolt, but try something like hot water, or what Uziel Gal said.
But once again, Slick Honey is the name of a Lube that people use for bikes, and also works for some paintball guns.

~95% of all ion owners think their 300 dollar "investment" is better than your 1400 dollar "p.o.s" if you want to bonus ball every ion owner that thinks this put this in your sig~

Are you ....but.......

Why would you......

OK. Not a problem.
Water will disolve this mess.

Then you might want to practice repeating, "Would you like fries with that?". It never hurts to start training for your future career now.

you cannot be serious.

this is the first time ive heard of something like this happening.

eh, well mistakes are made, you just have an oddball here. as people are saying, just get all the honey off. you may need to replace a few partys here and there and a few orings, but i think you should be good. of course, it depends where the honey ended up getting on.
