Use the search feature for the love of god. There was a huge, 4 or 5 page discussion on this, and the conclusion was, the VS2 is the better marker out of the box, but the Ion can be taken farther. So, if you don't want to upgrade the marker, get the VS2. If you want to upgrade to a higher performance level, get the Ion.

VS2 is better out of the box but the Ion can be upped easier. Your choice. Do you want to up it or not?
Now this should be locked before we get into a huge debate about Ion's vs VS2's which will evolve into SP vs Spyder and the argument will be based totally on biased opinions. Or a noob comes and say how Ions will make you pro and Spyders are for "nubs" and everyone will get all pissed.

VS2 or VS3, every time someone buys a gun from smart parts, god kills a kitten. When someone buys an Ion from smart parts, god kills enough puppies and kittens to bring peace to the middle east.

Search this has been asked so many times. But basically short term vs2 is better, long term ion, used ion better then both.

Basically the guns are about equal of out of the box - both have key features that are superior to the other. However the Ion can be upgraded more easily and completely, and that's the gun I recommend.

Buy the ion its a very good gun. If you buy the ion then buy a halo v35 hopper. Most important buy a compressed air tank NOT a co2 tank. if you buy the ion you will need a new feedneck to fit your halo hopper in. But the vs2 is a good gun but i like the ion way better

is selling his gun (sig)
|
if its price where i buy the ion is a alot more expinsive. if its performance the, the VS# is 15 dollars more expinsive then ion so you should decide beetween those two. VS3 is the better short term gun but if youre gonna upgrade then the ion should be ion. me i wasnt planning on upgrading so i got the VS3, if i was planning on upgrading i would have gotten VS2
