icon x upgrades?

Well summer time is coming up and me and a few of my buddies want to go paintballing and i was thinking of getting this gun for 40 bucks brand new at my local big 5 sporting good, but from what ive heard from this gun is that the trigger is really cheap plastic and the barrel is unaccurate. So i was wondering can you recomend me some good upgrades to get for this gun when i get it?

For a barrel pretty much anything but the stock. Spyder threaded barrels. Go on ebay and search for "Spyder Barrels" The plastic is all right and it will hold through.The gun is fairly good but its true that the stock barrle is very innacurate. If you really wanna upgrade it, look for a spring kit and a new bolt. That should make it alot better.

dude, i just got an icon x, and the barrel isnt THAT bad, the trigger is fine, it wobbles, im from a firearms background so im pretty hard on guns and it hasnt broken yet...lol, what im wondering is if i could use a mokal electric frame on this gun or not...thanks,

hmm...well...i believe that mokal is another spyder clone. It probably will but i'd be careful. Some frames might seem like they fit but they wobble alot. If you're looking for a frame search around for a stock spyder frame. More settings and it will definetly fit.

If you wanted,you could just buy yourself a nice refurb imagine fur 25 more.WAY more upgradeable,since all spyder upgrades fit almost every spyder marker. Just a suggestion.

what would a spring kit do for you? you arent suggesting he fires over 300 fps are you?

Icons will accept all spyder type upgrades. Trigger frames , barrels, bolts etc.

The Icon-X is essentially a Spyder Victory with a different name stamped onto the side.

Spring kits allow you to make major adjustments to your velocity without wasting time and paint at the chrono station. IE: Shooting 320fps with stock spring velocity screw removed(not all that uncommon in a brand new marker). Remove velocity spring and replace with one from Spring Kit (Color coded). Velocity is now 250fps without velocity screw. Install velocity screw and fps rises to 275-290. Within legal limits.
