Engravers are really cheap on ebay.
Unless you plan on selling your gear, engraving it is the way to go.

yeah sorry man but that logic doesn't make to much sense it'd just be like having your stuff in your bag and them walk off with it

some one could easily act like they know you and just say they are taking it out to your car or something like that

By the way people are that pathetic to steal crappy guns. Hell they even steal pods...

you know,i had some dye locklids stolen from me,from some noob kids who were running low on paint, and i had a few pods of old paint in some lock lids i had,i said, just use the paint and put them back in my gearbag..here i was nice enough to let them get a lil bit of paint, and they walked off with four of my dye locklids, possibly some of my plain pods...ive been fortunate that i havent had a marker stolen, then again my primary marker lately is an ion,and a promaster.

my first time i didnt kno what i was doing i showed up with a spyder sonix, gravity fed hopper, co2 tank no pack and a cheap dog chewed mask. the ppl at my field were soo nice to buy me whole new gear besides a gun that was loaned to me. they pitched in to buy me a empire 4+5 pack provantage mask a vel jr and a 48/3000 tank for my first time.... i ofered to pay them back but they refused and said no 1 deserves to play with crap. i would rather play with thoes kind of ppl in some ones backyard than play with some gun thievs at an nppl event. one other way u can keep ur stuff protected is look like an idiot and it will make you known every were u go so thievs stay away from your stuff.

Here's one. you know those Pb backpacks that your local shop sells, well if your at a tourney, (nppl event ect.) put your gun and what you can in there and just carry it everywere with you. Even in the Porta-Potty.

Heres a GREAT Tip!:
Get the Larger gear big as it was mentioned, BUT, always bring a mediums sized towel, and when you a now using it, wrap the towel around you gun (No barrel) and stick it on the bottom of your bag. This should help.
