is there such thing as a barrel adapter for the sp-1 so u can use spyder threaded barrels? I have an mr2 but im getting an sp-1 and i dont wanna buy a new barrel plz reply
Shocktech makes one for like $20 but using a barrel adapter is a bad idea. It can screw up your paint to bore match because of the possible two different size areas be so close to each other. It's best to just invest in a nice one piece barrel like a J&J ceramic for $10 more and get it in Impulse threads.
crap, ive got a jj ceramic for my mr2 but i just dont wanna sell it and buy the same barrel again. ive also got an apex spyder threaded so is it worth the risk trying out an adaptor?
You can if you want but paying an $10 or so for the proper threaded barrel is really worth it. Poor accuracy, efficiency, even more barrel breaks can happen w/ the use of a barrel adapter.
