What I've always gone on is that you want you bench to be at least your body weight and your squat at least twice your body weight.

well I can bench 40+ my weight(probably more I have'nt maxed in a while)but double my weight!! My legs suck I can only do like 10+ my body weight

dang...I could only bench like...120 right now...when I was working out hardcore I got upto about 140, I weighed about 155.
edit:
120 and 140 were not my maxes. I rarely ever try to max.

i bench about 10 over my weight, but can squat almost 2x, maybe 20lbs off.

I can bench -50 of my weight (200) cause of my shoulder surgery. I can squat 2x (500) and I can leg press 4x (1000)

My Jeep didn't start again this morning. After profuse revving I was able to get out of my driveway, where it promptly died again. More money out of my pocket wooh.

I figure they should all be about the same. I used to work out pretty hardcore but now its only like 45 minutes 3 days a week. So to post stats. 265 bench 285 squat 200 power clean. Having a hard time maintaining those numbers though. Its harder to make improvements when you are getting towards 30 then it was when I was 18.

I have no idea what I bench cuz i've never set foot in a weight room. Then again I'm not big on lifting things I don't actually need to put somewhere else. The idea that people lift things over and over and then leave them there when they are done is pretty hilarious to me.

I can bench my weight plus 30. Squat more than double. No idea on legpress

hahaha, every 100lb kid in the thread just his pants.

I demand anyone talking about benching their own weight or about it tells us how much they weigh or how much they actually lift, no relative numbers.
I get the feeling a lot of people are lying about how much they can lift too, but no stopping that.

well awhislyle,

i weigh 150, weighed 160 when i was in a weights class. I was able to bench 205 once, so 1 rep max.

Now its about 165 one rep max, i really lost a lot of explosive power, but i'm currently focusing on core strength with body weight workouts.
