dont want to use co2 for my sp1 and was wondering what kind of tank is recommended for the gun. and what the diff. between compressed air and HPA?

The SP1 is design to be used with CO2, you'll have very little trouble with using it if you set it up right. But anyway, and HPA tank will work on the SP1 whether it be high pressure out or low pressure out. If you're going to get an HPA tank then it's best to get a nice carbon fiber tank like a Crossfire. Don't waste money on a cheap aluminum tank they simply are not worth it and performance wise your almost better off using CO2. Compressed air and HPA are the same thing, HPA just stands for High Pressure Air. It's basically the same air we breath.

a 20 oz tank will last you all day for the most part. Unless of course your like me and shoot 2-4 cases a day

I personally always prefered the chromolly tanks which are the round ones, instead of the flat bottom cylinders. the 16 and 20 oz ones like those were nice. If you plan on playing at a field then a 20 oz will be just fine. If playing in the woods id say get 2 just incase, which a 20 oz is around 20-25 shipped so not very costly.

I use a 20oz. on my SP1 and on a hot day it'll last pretty much the whole day. I mean considering the gun has a single trigger and a board capped at 11bps you won't be slinging bucket loads of paint down field.
