I am going downtown tonight to be there for the game. So this should be one epic time. It also didnt help that we had brodeur in net. But I really do hope we meet the US for a gold Medal match. And the small chance that we dont win. I predict a riot.

yea i expect a lot of angry canadians if US wins hockey gold. we have already succeeded in pissing off the russians in figure skating, germans are getting mad that they arent leading the medal count too. US is on a hot streak

I tried Chrome, but at the time Xmarks [bookmark syncing/backup] and AdBlock Plus weren't supported.

Maybe that's different now? I'll check...........

UPDATE: Xmarks is supported. Adblock is as well.

I have just got home. I was waiting for 5 hours in rain and hail at our local Six Flags for a lifeguard position. FAIL.

lifeguard at an amusement park is fail, you actually have to work unlike neighborhood pools. people who dont have any idea of how to swim walk into the wave pool and end up flailing and choking in 4ft of water at least once every 10 minutes.

The good: Played one of my best shows yet with my current band in front of a packed house of around 300 people last night at one of my favorite venues.

The bad: Almost had to actually fight my drummer to get his car keys away from him when he tried to drive home after the show. When I find you passed out on a bench in the dressing room shortly after the venue closed for the night, you are officially too drunk to drive home and slurring your words while threatening to fight me will not deter me from taking your keys.

The ugly: Random annoying fat chick who the band didn't know that well tagged along with us to the afterparty and I had to block my bass player from moving in on it. He thanked me this morning. This was not the first time I've had to stop him from drunkenly going after a fat chick after playing a show. One of these days I may let him go through with it so he'll learn his lesson and stop using the beer goggles so much.

A limo is picking me up in 1 hour to go downtown Vancouver. Where I will watch Team US get Humiliated.

Wish I could afford to go to the game. But something about $100,000 for 4 seats is a little much.

someone is gonna have to shank ryan miller in the parking lot for team canada to win. saved 42/45 the first game. other than him i think its pretty evenly matched.

i think a lot of people are gonna be pissed that they paid $25,000 a seat to see their team lose.

If I were you Speedy I wouldn't want to pay $100,000 either. Kinda hard to pay that and see your home country get anally raped by the Americans.
