The good: Friends from Indianapolis came down for the full weekend. Went and saw movies and played basketball on friday, I had a test on saturday which we promptly celebrated afterwards. Got a hot chick's number at the test. Then we helped my roommate pack before he went to Japan and played ChatRoulette. Saw boobs on CR and then a friend called us up to hang out. More on that in next section. Played 21 at the courts this morning and I won a game. Friends just left and I'm chilling in a single.

The bad: Friend who called us up sounded completely sober. He gets here, and he's not. My RA has been in and out of the room while my roommate has been getting ready to leave, so we cut out and my drunk friend says he wants Qdoba. We walk to the other side of campus with a drunk kid to get breakfast burritos. It was good, though, because everyone in the Qdoba was drunk. I got a full drink tossed on me and a friend by some drunk guy, and my friend tipped back over in his chair. Then we walked back, drunk kid got in a fight with his roomie, he went home, and then we just chilled in my room until we went to sleep at five.

Basically, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

that was a good game. at least it went to overtime. stadium went silent when US scored the goal at 24 seconds with an empty net to tie. way too much time with the puck on the US end though. ryan miller is definately the mvp, but he cant stop everything, wasnt getting a lot of help at times.

My head hurts soooooo much right now. I am pretty sure i had a small heart attack when the US scored with 20 seconds left. I could not of asked for a better finish then that thow. Good game.

Isnt silver just bitter sweet? Would you rather lose silver or win bronze?

silver is still better than bronze. especially considering hockey isnt nearly as big in the US as in canada. if the US team got beatdown i might have been dissappointed, but they ran most of that tournament and went to OT in the final. really they should have played another game to make it best of 3 imo.

saw muse at the patriot center last night. far from my favorite band, but sick show. silversun pickups opened with a ~40 minute set which was sweet, and the muse intro was rediculous. had floor tickets, totally worth standing in the cold for 3 hours to be up front.

Floor seats are the only way to go. I feel like I couldnt have as much fun at a concert just sitting in a seat uninvolved. Music is about participation to me.

agreed. i thought it was hilarious that there were some people next to us actually complaining about getting bumped into. you shouldnt expect any personal space if you are in the pit, and leaving without being covered in sweat and beer generally means it was a ****** show.

I would've loved to have seen Silversun, though. I can't wait for the amount of concerts I'm going to soon.

muse isnt exactly hardcore. but i dont know how anyone could just stand still through most of their songs. and patriot center has a 10,000 capacity, if you want personal space you get seat tickets or stay toward the back of the floor.

and yeah, muse had the better part of the show effects wise, but i actually like silversun pickups music more. they sounded great live. i felt kind of bad for them though, because not many people actually knew their songs. they didnt get any love until panic switch and lazy eye which they played last.

Worst position I have ever been to was at a rave once Justice started performing. before then it was a little crowded, but not bad. Justice came up, and here comes the cluster**** of people. I literally didnt have my feet on the floor for the full hour and a half set.

Anyone familiar with differential equations? Specifically reducing second order to first order using the substitution v=y' ?
