I'm sorry you guys. That really sucks. This guy is obviously a douche bag and needs to get railed. But lets go ahead and throw this out there... morale of the story: don't mail your marker away to anyone. Ever. and def don't include money with it.
If you need custom work done on your gear, take it to a shop, or get someone local to do it, or learn how to do it yourself. Why? so that this kind of stuff doesn't happen. you can find the people and sick the cops on em if they eff you. and maybe you'll learn something and can do this kind of work for people in the future.
Not trying to **** in your cereal, this guy's a dick. I hope you get 'em. But it was a little dumb to send your marker away in the mail to some shady dude that you don't know.
