i am tryin to fix my friends timmy and while i was looking at it aparts i took out the screw that is on the bottom of the body where the valve is (its a short fat screw) and i looked in the hole and noticed there was this red sel thing but it was more like a hard plastic. well w/e it is it is cracked and i think that this was causing the leak on his gun. he jus ordered a rebuild kit for it but the kit does not have this red ring. sooo wut is it and where can i get it????

There shouldn't be any red things in there. Do you have pics?

no but i was looking at a manual online and i think it mite be one of those teflon orings. does that sound rite???

The teflon o-rings are behind the valve pins in the regulators and are white.

My guess is that was red loctite.

does it have to be a teflon o-ring in that spot or could i use a rubber one??

Use a teflon o-ring. If you call BLAST, half the time they'll give you one for free.

The part closest to the o-ring is (diameter) 3/8 as far as i can tell(not including o-ring).
The part that screws into the poppet is 7/16 but probably about 15/32 but i dont have anything that measures that.

These are really rough calculations though
