How to avoid getting your marker stolen

my gear bag has metal teathers in side of it so i can lock my E-Tek up inside of it then i have a teather on my gear bag itself so i can lock my gearbag to a picnic table or car or what ever is around so no moron that thinks hes cool cuz he can steal gear cant steal my gear

I have just been glancing through this thread and can't believe how many people get their marker stolen. I guess with a $700 marker though....
I would think that a shoulder strap would solve the problem entirely.

when i go woodsball, i carry a small backpack with my barrel kit and tools inside. I have been really wary in carrying my backup with me. I'll just leave me backup in the trunk of my car.
I also lock up the zippers to prevent curious eyes from finding out what's inside while I play.
I'm even thinking of picking up a ski/snowboard lock which has a steel cable to wrap around a tree.

Can anyone recommend a good insurance company who gives a decent level of cover for a paintball marker?
