Replaced fluids and worn rubber items on a Corolla yesterday, also did some brake work. There is infinitely more room under that hood. Of course, I managed to drop a bolt behind the motor and it got caught in the header heat shield, which was pretty much the only place impossible to get to.

After driving that Corolla around a bit to make sure everything was in order, it made me appreciate my Civic even more. Night and day difference between two equally priced cars.

I bought an 03 Volkswagen GTI with a VR6 today. This should lead to some fun times. It's a really fun car, but needs an alignment and some minor dent work this week. I plan on throwing new wheels and suspension on it and autocrossing it.

Because it's a dealership. For the same reason kawasaki charges 11 dollars a quart for their not so great dino oil.

Yamaha charges $13 for a 1/2 quart of 2-stoke oil. I walked over to the lawn care place and got it for $2.50

I was on the south side of the mall, near Jefferson Dr., and a little bit west of 4th St.

If you zoom in on that pic and look at the area to the northwest of the intersection of Jefferson and 4th, you'll see what looks like a big red dot. I have no idea what that is, but it's right by where I was.

Cool to hear another OT'er was there. That was an epic weekend.

What are you putting it in? I never used yama-lube in my race bikes or any factory oil. Always used motul. Of course I'm sure you're not using it in a racebike. No point in using the most expensive if you aren't racing.

the unemployment thing is wearing on me more each day, the minute i'm honest in an interview and say i cannot stand for much more than an hour, i get sent to the bottom of the pile. that combined with the trucking business being done, and my uncle taking over the harvesting business and farming out work to drunks who will work cheaper than me, its a boring day in the end. most days are spend sitting online trying to sell some of our stuff, or driving around to places that are slightly interested in it. going to be a looooong winter.

so, last winter the idiots that had my truck for harvest work pulled the sensor wires out of the fuel water sensor. after 2 days of solid searching (and learning the value of a smartphone, thing rocks) i finally found one. i hate idiots with the passion of a thousand angry women right now.

Clear fan shroud from llama coming
Blue and orange ROL module coming
Put a neon blue LED fan into the top of the case to blow cold air on the CPU/GPU heatsinks, runs off of USB power on the back of the system.
250gig HD, been on der a while.
Cut a window and put lexan glass behind it
Paint it flatblack, and next week I'm gonna polyurethane it. Should have it done by next saturday. Can't wait.
