Question Air Tank gauge question/reg

hi guys, got a quick one for u, my 1.1L 4500psi and when i get it filled, the gauge will never show that, even though the fill stations im filling off will show 4500psi, my tank will never show that, just wondering would it be a gauge problem on my tank or the reg on my tank?

cheers guys

your tank, the gauge reads pressure in the tank not output pressure , they are fairly cheap to replace .

sorry maybe didnt explain myself right, the tank doesnt read the right amount of air thats in it compared to the gauge on the fill station, example, gauge on the fill station reads bang on 4500 and the gauge on my tank reads about 3900 sometimes less, so the fill station reads one reading the the tank gauge reads another to the amount of air in the tank, hope that makes sense?

I would be more likely to trust the fill station gauge, they are probably checked more often . Have someone else get there tank filled with same fikk station and compair the two readings .

rest of my teams tanks gauges seem to read better than mine, so basically the gauge on my tank needs replacing? or would the whole reg need to be replaced?

It happens sometimes that the gauge on the tank will come out of calibration and its probably not the reg. it's not a supper big deal, just always trust the fill station gauge. they are usually way more accurate then the tank. I have an older Crossfire 4500 and the tank gauge usually reads about 300 - 500 less then what is actually in it.

Agreed. Trust the fill station, not your tank.
