Lurker27's big of list of home mods

I've done quite a few home mods in my day, with the most ambitious stuff still forthcoming. * will denote not COMPLETELY done yet

*Valve mod - Drilled out top hole on an angle. Performs extremely well. I may remove cupseal ridge for better flow and sealing. A must on a budget.

Valve pin - Filed all the way around the stem at the cupseal end, but did not modify the recock jet area. This increases flow without wasting more air on recock.

*Cupseal - File into cone shape to help air flow around it better. A simple mod, with so-so results. Haven't done it on my aftermarket seal yet, but am planning on it.

Vertical adapter - I drilled this one hard, 3/8", I bleive, at an angle. I don't think I could buy a better VA.

*Bolt - Polished, and no venturi. I am planning on added epoxy near the inlet to create a guide for the flow, to increase airefficiency. I may use epoxy along the whole length of the bolt to experiment with undertow type designs, but I am not sure.

*Feedneck - I drilled a blowback hole, and it vents noticeably...I never had a ball bobble problem before, much, but this seems to have helped...difficult to drill the roundness, it left some scratches on my body. This will be modifed with the PVC no rise I plan to have on the hopper forthcoming.

*Hopper - I own a Zap Mach 404. I plan to convert it, purely mechanically, into a forcefeeder. http://pbreview.com/forums/showthrea...highlight=404f

*Electronics - I own an Esprit. 13bps cap? pffft. http://pbreview.com/forums/showthrea...ight=bahamu t

HES switch - No trigger weight. See above thread.

*ACE - Matched IR pair from radio shack, NPN transistor plugged into the logic center, or directly into the circuit, depending on mode, of above.

*E-response trigger- planning on mounting a solenoid to my frame to push back my trigger with each shot.

Stock Barrel Mod- Inspired by Magnus, I cut down my stock barrel, coated the inside with dupont Vydax (a mold release low CoF powder), and cut a slit for porting along the top, to give a uniform backspin. testing didnt go well, and the finish was too inconsistent, I believe. I'll try it again with a looser paint match and better velocity.

*Grip Panel pictures - Nothing much, just mounting mirrored pictures inside my grip panels once everything else is done.

*Mask Fan - http://pbreview.com/forums/showthrea...threadid=15923 following that.

Polished striker - seemed to smooth out my kick. ottersccustoms.com

E-trigger Job - Standard, just set screw adjustment, no trigger spring, side to side slack, and a thin backstop.

*Stronger Detents - the ball bearing is held in place by a spring. A stronger spring (or magnets) would mean a stronger detent.

Stretched Coiled Remote - made a big difference for me. Just leave it really stretched out, held like that, overnight.

O-ring care - once you're off liquid CO2 forever, swap them all, grease, then oil no oring internals. Your marker will thank you.

Milling - I may take my frustrations out on part of the vizion cocking system....with a hacksaw.

Thats the most extensive list I can think of, at the moment.
