another stupid question

just listen to what i have to say befor you start bashing me.
i need help decideing between the 04 bko and the omen. i was on the side of the bko until i read reviews, and a few people say it is a p.o.s.(leaking air, low quality internals, ect.) i personally dont think so but that doubt is still in my mind. so i just want to know if i should stick with the bko, because i want a gun that looks cool, shoots fast and accurate, and is reliable.(plus cheap so i can get a barrel kit ) will these expectations be met with this gun.
the only reason im looking at the omen is because of the cam feeding system and closed bolt. but the omen isnt a ''true'' electro and it is slower.

Yeah, you will notice the majority of the reviews are extremely positive. So you know right there that most likely the few complainers were most likely doing something wrong. Most of the time when someone complains something is "a piece of crap" or something like that, and most other disagree, it's user error.

Don't worry about them. Stick with the BKO.

Closed Bolt, Schmosed Bolt. The difference isbarely noticable besides the times when your closed bolt gun rolls a ball out of the barrel.

Cam feeding... you can always get SP Mod on that BKO

And like you said, Omen = Teh Slowz0rz compared to BKO

BKO =

the leaking issue is not one to be overlooked. While deciding which gun to get, i encountered the same dilema. I heard it leaked right out of the box. It is true. My friends: leaked. About five others have come to the shop i work at with problems. Mine luckily did not leak and ripped right out of the box. So really it is luck of the draw. Also consider you will probably be buying new regs anyways, so how important is a little leak? The quality of the parts bad? Who told you this? Whoever it was obviously knows nothing about ICD markers and are only going by what they heard. Another thing to consider is that many new upgrades are coming out. Things like the blind bolt, a new four way solenoid kit for the BKO, the anti chop mods, valves etc.

Conclusion: You may have air problems, you may not. In no way are the parts poor quality. Do not always believe what you hear on this site. You have to try things out for yourself. Also remember all the upgrades coming!!!!!

Hoped this helped you in your decision.

My vote: BKO all the way!!!!!!!

Internal Leaking usually mean the regs are setup improperly.

The LPR may need to be cleaned also.

The Solenoid seal leaks at 125psi so you don't ruin the Solenoid.

bko = poormen b2k

omen = richmen spyder

omen is nothing more than a blowback (like spyders) with and electry frame... its close bolt is a spring pushing the bolt forward ([sarcasm]fancy aint it?[/sarcasm]).. and its cam feed, shoulda invest the RnD money into ACE
not to mention it has a horrible trigger (though the frame is very nice)
bottom line is awesome as well as the reg "design" (i guess performance aint bad either)
oh yeah.. field stripping one of those suckas = 10x as hard as the bko

good luck
