Question A/C Shooting excessive air?

I've come to notice that on my WGP 05 Superstock, it shoots a bit louder than both of my friends' 04 Mech AC'ers. Is there something to adjust to lower the excessive air output, or should I just leave it? And also, is there a way to 'sweet spot' the LPR without a chrono? Thx.

You don't need a chrono to sweetspot an LPR. Just get a hopper of paint and air and the tools you need to adjust your LPR.

Assuming your gun is correctly timed to being with....
First, make sure the air isn't connected and turn the LPR pressure down.
Reconnect air and fire and hold the trigger.
Look down the breech and notice how far the bolt has moved.
You'll want to only see a sliver of it.
If you see too much, increase the LPR pressure, if you don't see it at all decrease the LPR pressure.
Finally, air up and load your marker and rapid fire a few times to make sure it'll work when you need to lay down the paint.

Also, make sure you have a good paint to barrel match. Paint to small for the barrel will cause in-accurate shots and force you to use more air. Paint to big for the barrel will cause you to use more air to push the paintball out the barrel, resulting in a higher velocity.

First, make sure the marker is timed properly. Info and guides/games can be found here:

Then, once you know your timing is setup up, sweet spot the HPR and LPR. Guide can be found here:

Note, the HPR guide can get a little confusing. Depending on if you have a gauge or not, follow either A or B in the guide.

You might want to increase in a Maddman spring kit. It will help lower your operating pressure, increase efficiency, and lower kick (with a light main spring that is).
